Obituary of Tonu Sue Davis

Tonu Sue Davis, 60 years young, of Brooklyn Center, MN, passed away on December 21, 2022.

Tonu was born March 21, 1962 in Corbin, Kentucky, the daughter of Jack Moon Chin & Eliza Ann Chin.

Tonu graduated from South High School in 1980.

Tonu married Gary Davis on December 11, 1982 in Minnesota. Happily married for 40 years, raised 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Tonu worked as a Production Manager at Anderson and Son’s. Out of Tonu’s many places of employment. Anderson and Son’s was her favorite.

Tonu especially loved Coffee, Jewelry Making, Camping, Cooking, Rock Collecting, Dollar Store Shopping, Reading books, & Computer gaming.

Favorite memories of Tonu – Always woke up early to make a big breakfast for family events. She had her own personal apothecary and unique homeopathic remedies for any and all ailments that happened to cross her path.

Remaining to cherish Tonu’s memory are spouse, Gary Davis; children, Kytrena Ann Williams (Tyrone), Steven Lee Davis, and Luke J Davis. grandchildren, Kaylah Sue Carlson, Jalen Maurice Stately, Tatyana Kamryn Stately, Zack Davis, and Athena Davis; brothers, Greg Weeks, Tim Huie & 3 children, Todd Chin & 3 children, Troy Chin & 1 child, Trent Chin & 2 children; sisters, Tena Anderson & 4 children, Tammy Chin & 2 children, Teresa Chin & 2 children.

Preceding Tonu in death are parents, Jack Moon Chin & Eliza Ann Chin.

A memorial service will be held January 21, 2023 at 1:00 PM at The Crystal Community Center, 4800 Douglas Drive N Crystal, MN 55429 with Anne Archbold & Marilaurice Hemlock officiating.
