Obituary of Audrey Kathleen Fritzke

Audrey Kathleen Fritzke (Jackson) passed away on March 6, 2024 at home in Lakeville, MN surrounded by loved ones. Audrey was the second of three children, born to Kathryn and Clayton Jackson of Minneapolis, MN. Audrey grew up in South Minneapolis and graduated from Roosevelt High School, where she met and married her husband Paul. They spent 65+ years together.

Everybody loved Audrey, as she was always the life of the party with her winning warmth and bubbly personality. Above all, Audrey infused love into everyone and everything she was involved in. She was a beautiful, kind, and caring soul.

Audrey is survived by her devoted family, daughter Kim Fritzke, who cared for her for nearly 10 years, allowing her to enjoy the peace and comfort of the home she loved; son Craig (Barbara) Fritzke, daughter Susan (Bob) Stangler and son Jeff (Lisa) Fritzke, sister Jean White (Jackson), as well as 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Fritzke, parents Clayton and Kathryn Jackson, and her brother Ronald.

She will be missed beyond words by many, especially her children, who thought she was the best mom in all the land. “Many have danced this dance called life, but none with her gentle grace.”
