Obituary of Lisa Marie Ford

Lisa Ford (Bartko) passed away peacefully on January 4, 2024 at the age of 65 as a result of early-onset Alzheimer’s. She was born January 28, 1958 in Minneapolis, graduated from Rosemount High School in 1976, and spent most of her life in Minnesota. She worked as a Secretary at Southview Elementary School in Apple Valley, Minnesota for over 20 years and retired in 2017. Lisa loved to spend time with her friends and family, read, travel and go on bike rides. She was gentle, caring and loved with all her heart. Lisa is survived by her mother, Rita Peterson, son, Adam (Candace) Ford, daughter, Angela (Erik) Koenig, five grandchildren, her brother, four sisters and many nieces and nephews. Her celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 10 at Hosanna Church (Door 5) in Lakeville, Minnesota. Visitation at 10:00am and service at 11:00am with a luncheon to follow. Burial will take place at Lebanon Cemetery in Apple Valley, MN at a later date.
