Obituary of Frank R. Belrose

FRANK R. BELROSE September 16, 1933 – February 15, 2017

Frank R. Belrose, son of Louise M. Belrose and Adolf Callihoo was born on September 16, 1933 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He passed away February 15, 2017.

After attending grade school in Edmonton he then moved to Minnesota and lived with his sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Harlen Cook. He graduated from Glenwood High School and St. Cloud College.

Frank was a "people person" and that talent enabled him to be a successful Wear-Ever salesman during his college years. He taught school for many years in Burnsville/Savage, MN. Spare time was spent inventing exciting items and gardening. He was a magician and jokester. Family events will never be the same without his entertainment. His talent on the dance floor was terrific--especially the polka!

Frank will be remembered for his love of his family and his wife Lois's family. His faith was strong and he attended Nativity of Our Lord Church.

He is survived by his devoted wife Lois; 3 sons Todd (Gianna) Belrose, Tyler Belrose of Oakland Park, FL, Carter (Margaret) Belrose of Duluth, MN; family Mary Anne Burns, Kate (Larry) Nieman, David (Connie) Dillon; grandchildren Madison, Nicholas and Gabriel Belrose, Michelle (Paul) Canterbury, Rebecca Bedner, Sarah Skillings, Sam Clarke, Paul (Loli) Dillon, Elizabeth (Dusty) Julius, John Dillon; great grandchildren Justin, Lauren, Henry, Leah, Kaydon; and other relatives and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and 1 grandson.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday July 12th, 2023 at St Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN 55110. Visitation 10:00-11:00 Mass 11:00.

Internment follows at St Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Stillwater St, White Bear Lake, MN 55115.

Luncheon follows at Rudy’s Redeye Grill, 4940 State Highway 61, White Bear Lake, MN 55110.
