Obituary of Rudy Maki, Jr.

Rudy Maki Jr, age 76, of Eagan MN passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2021 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul due to complications from COVID. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Roiann (Mattison), his Daughters; Lisa Hollon (David) Georgetown TX, Jennifer Berg (Steve) Osceola WI, Stephanie Ament (Dick) Lakeville MN, along with 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Rudy was born in Minneapolis and attended Central High School’s class of ‘63 where he made and maintained many lifelong friendships. He and his wife Roiann raised their girls in Wadena, MN where Rudy enjoyed his many hobbies including golf and a lifelong interest in cars. Rudy was a member of the Minnesota Street Rod Association and coordinated weekly car shows in the Eagan area which he enjoyed so very much. During retirement, Rudy treasured the time he spent on his many collections and sharing stories around watches, coins, and other gadgets a plenty. He was a man of strong faith and enjoyed his weekly devotions. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 28th at 10:30 AM at Acacia Park Cemetery, 2151 Pilot Knob Road, Mendota Heights, MN 55120
