Obituary of Shelly M. Lovsted

Shelley M. Lovsted, age 71, of St. Paul, passed away on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021. She was born to Carl and Frances Lovsted in Brainerd, MN on June 16th, 1950. Shelley graduated from Metropolitan Community College (now Minneapolis Community and Technical College) and became a nurse in her early adult years. She had a passion for photography and seemed to always have a camera ready to capture any beauty she saw around her. She loved to read thrillers and mysteries, and always had a good book to lend or recommend to a family member or friend. Shelley was an extraordinary cat-and-plant-Mom, her collection of plants diverse and exotic enough to rival the Como Conservatory, just on a smaller scale. Her two cats, Red and Mouse, were her babies and they knew this was so. Shelley is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Lovsted and Frances Lovsted, and brother, Robert Lovsted. Shelley is survived by her sisters Elsie Lovsted, Betty Bergerson, and Arlene Lovsted; nieces Paula Bergerson, Jodi Bergerson, Ava Rolf, Caitlin Rolf, and Cristina Lovsted; and great-nephew Titus Holloway.
