I was so lucky to be his firstborn grandchild! As I got older, their door was always open, literally, even if they weren’t home. No matter what I needed, a place to stay, something to eat, or just someone to visit with, I knew I could stop by anytime, and I’m so grateful for those memories. I love you Grandpa! I’ll miss your smile and hearing you call me “Babes”.
