Michael Lowell Johnson
of Minneapolis passed away surrounded in love on Tue, Oct. 10, 2017 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital at the age of 67.
He is preceded in death by parents Lowell and Jewel Johnson and granddaughter Cheyenne.
He is survived by brother Scott (Nina) Johnson; daughters, Star (Jake) Bazella, Brishen (Tony) Hampton, Ariel (John) Halverson, grandchildren, Aja, Quintin, Saeda, Tenzin, Axel, other family, and many friends.
He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1968 and spent his life between Minneapolis and with a large caring extended family in the Moorhead area. He had a long career working with developmentally disabled and handicapped adults, and 40 plus year fixture and one time food booth owner at the Renaissance Festival. He was a creative and talented artist who was always working with his hands. A deeply spiritual person with a thoughtful, kind, gentle soul who dedicated his life to healing and serving others, most especially his daughters, and was a joyous loving papa to his grandchildren.
His family would like to thank Abbott Northwestern hospital for taking wonderful care of him in his final days.
A memorial service will be held 4:00PM on Sat. Oct. 14, 2017 at Lake Harriet Spiritual Community, 4401 Upton Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55410.
