Bradley Dale Bengston, age 69, passed away Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Minneapolis with his loving wife Brenda by his side. Brad was preceded in death by his mother Ardis and father Dale. He is survived by his wife Brenda, son Joshua (April), daughter Brooke and son Andrew (Elie) as well as his grandchildren Harrison, Lillian, Claire, Mazie and Cecilia; his siblings Bruce (Diane), Barry (Debbie), Jackie and Judy; stepmother Julie and step siblings Judy (Bob), Nick(Dar), and Teresa(Jim).
Brad was a born and bred Minnesotan, through and through, including all of the stoic Scandinavian humor that every script writer dreams of. You knew Brad liked you if he started a conversation with a joke. If you weren’t giggling with him by the end of the conversation you weren’t listening.
Brad suffered through Parkinson’s Disease for many years but would always answer the question of “How are you, Brad?” with something along the lines of “If I were any better, I’d be twins!” His happy-go-lucky attitude followed by his wink and smile will be truly missed by all that have encountered him.
Brad’s family and friends would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Minneapolis Veterans Home for their loving and attentive care. His family would like to extend big thanks to all of his friends who made his life happier with their visits over the past few years, it means the world to us and was a very evident he enjoyed life a little bit more after those visits.
